Sioux Code Talkers of World War II Has Arrived!
I checked UPS tracking in between classes today…all day, until the green line changed from “on the truck” to ” delivered! Woo hoo! The day is finally here! I held my first book in my hands and my daughter wanted to record it to remember the moment.
I feel a sense of relief, like I ran a marathon and made it to the finish line. I feel a sense of wonder. However, I know this isn’t “finished” – it’s just the beginning of telling this story and I’m curious where the next steps will take me. I’m so excited and giddy! (I can’t think of another word right now, and this one fits)
