Blogging Challenge Day 13
When we study the lives of our leaders and role models, we can help ourselves be stronger people. In keeping with the 4 Directions and looking at all aspects of life, here are a few of my role models:
Teacher– Georgia Heard (Finding the Heart of Nonfiction)
Linda Rief (Read, Write, Teach)
Writer– Kate Messner (all her books, and Teachers Write)
Darcy Pattison (website Fiction Notes)
Jane Friedman (website and webinars)
Kristin Fulton (perseverance, webinars)
Joyce Sweeney (writing knowledge)
Family and how to live life– my husband, my mom and dad, my sister, my daughters, and there are so many more family members who inspire me to be a better person. Historical figures include Sitting Bull, Black Elk, Billy Mills, Nelson Mandela, Wilma Rudolph, Maya Angelou, and many more.
Spiritual– Imaculee Ilibagiza (Left to Tell, Our Lady of Kibeho)
Takashi Nagai (A Song for Nagasaki by Paul Glynn)
Stormie Omartian (any of her books)
